What Sunday morning is like

A typical Sunday, start to finish, so nothing catches you off guard.

  1. 9:00 AM

    Bible classes (optional)

Small classes for every age meet in rooms around the building. Visitors are welcome. Ask a greeter to point you to one.

  2. 9:45 AM

Arrive and check in your kids

Park, come through the main doors, and check children in at the Kids Desk. Coffee, tea, and pastries are set out in the lobby.

  3. 10:15 AM

    Worship begins

We open with about twenty minutes of singing. The words are on the screens. Sing along, listen, or just take it in.

  4. 10:40 AM

    The message

Pastor Marcus teaches from the Bible for about 35 minutes, usually working through one book at a time. Use the Bible in the seat back or bring your own.

  5. 11:20 AM

    Communion and prayer

On the first Sunday of the month we share communion. All who trust Christ are welcome. We close with a blessing and a chance for prayer up front.

  6. 11:30 AM

    Stay a while

The coffee's still on, and most people visit in the lobby or the parking lot for a while. A few groups usually head to lunch together. Ask and we'll introduce you.

Children

Your kids will be glad they came

We take children's safety seriously and their fun just as seriously. Every classroom has a clear plan and enough adults.

  • Staffed nursery (birth–3) with a quiet room and a place for nursing mothers.
  • Kids Church for ages 4 through 5th grade: Bible stories, songs, and a craft.
  • Every volunteer is background-checked, and two unrelated adults are in every room.
  • Matching security tags: only the matching tag picks a child up.
  • We ask about allergies at check-in, and snacks are always peanut-free.
  • Parents are welcome to stay with their children as long as they'd like.

Use the front lot or the east lot, both free. Greeters in orange vests will point you to an open space and to the main doors, which open into the lobby. Spaces reserved for visitors and for anyone with limited mobility are right beside the entrance.

Getting in and around

  • Step-free main entrance with an automatic door opener.
  • Reserved parking closest to the entrance.
  • Wheelchair spaces throughout the sanctuary, not only in the back.
  • Hearing loop in the sanctuary. Ask a greeter if you need a receiver.
  • Large-print Bibles and bulletins on request.
  • Accessible restrooms, including a family restroom.

Questions people ask before their first visit

What should I wear?

Anything you're comfortable in. You'll see jeans and sundresses, polo shirts and suits. Nobody is keeping score.

Where do I park, and which door do I use?

Use the front lot or the east lot. Greeters in orange vests will point you to a space and to the main doors, which open into the lobby. Reserved spaces for visitors and for people with limited mobility are right by the entrance.

What about my kids?

Children from the nursery through 5th grade have their own classes during worship. Check-in opens at 9:45 at the Kids Desk. You'll get matching tags, and only the matching tag can pick a child up. Kids are also welcome to stay with you in worship.

What will the service be like?

A mix of congregational singing, a short prayer, Scripture reading, and a Bible message. The music is a blend of hymns and newer songs, led by a band and choir. It's traditional in structure and relaxed in feel.

Is the building accessible?

Yes. There is a step-free main entrance with an automatic door opener, reserved parking nearest the door, wheelchair spaces throughout the sanctuary, accessible restrooms, and a hearing loop. Large-print Bibles and bulletins are available on request.

How long is the service?

About 75 minutes. If you have Bible classes in mind, they start at 9:00 and run 45 minutes.

Will I be put on the spot?

No. We won't ask you to stand, raise a hand, or introduce yourself. A greeter will say hello and that's it, unless you'd like more.

Who can I contact with a question?

Call the church office during office hours or send a message from the Contact page. Sarah Beth will help you. Phone, email, and hours are listed at the bottom of this page.

Can I let someone know I'm coming?

Yes. The form below tells us you're coming, and we'll save you a seat and have someone say hello. It's optional, and we're glad to see you either way.

Planning to join us?

Let us know you're coming

Completely optional. It just helps us save you a seat, have someone say hello, and get your kids checked in quickly.
