Storm season. If severe weather is forecast, we'll post any change to Sunday services here first.
On the calendar
Most events are open to friends and neighbors, and many are free. If you're new, an event is an easy, low-key way to meet people.
A free supper on the lawn, games for the kids, and a bonfire for the grown-ups. Bring a lawn chair and a neighbor.
Middle and high schoolers: a night on the water with s'mores, a short talk, and plenty of time to hang out. We'll carpool from the church lot.
Coffee, something sweet, and a short study. Women at every stage of life are welcome. Childcare is provided.
Free
Just show up. No sign-up needed.
Grits, eggs, and a short conversation about how to be a better husband, father, and neighbor.
Free-will offering
Just show up. No sign-up needed.
A Saturday morning of yard work, small repairs, and visits for neighbors who can't manage on their own. No skills needed. We'll put you with a team.
One service at 10:15 for everybody, then a potluck under the oaks. Bring a dish to share (or just yourself, since there's always plenty). Old friends and first-timers equally welcome.
Free
Just show up. No sign-up needed.
These happen whether or not there's anything else on the calendar.
Many of our best events started as someone saying “what if we…?” Tell us yours.
